A MUST-READ / LISTEN
I'd heard of Chomsky but this is my first experience of his writing. In short, he's an absolute genius, He explains how the world works behind the scenes without the conspiracy theories. So many secrets revealed in this book, it's incredible!
A must-read for every citizen of the world.

Prescient
A combination of a history lesson or a reminder of events from an alternative source to the main stream media. It's additionally relevant to and prescient of recent events.
The narration is excellently performed.

A must for all on earth.
Noam Chomsky' answers provoke questions, rational questions of the sort 'what Can I do in my area of the world'.
He masterfully lays out the global power structures, warns of trends and things to watch (ie leaders riding crest of a movements wave) and points us to what's most important in these structures for the perpetuation of the systems in question. Whilst no easy answer is offeredto the questions raised, awareness is. Honest ego less awareness that those winning victories for the betterment of humanity will rarely be lauded with wreaths nor will such victories be constant. Power systems are in motion and it is up to human individuals to cooperate and organise to move them in a direction that may save us all, the question we are each left asking is how we each can play our part in that?

Absolutely fascinating
The book deals mostly with American issues of power, corruption and bullying of other nations, but touches on other countries' bad behaviour too. I was captivated the whole way through.
It is based on talks from quite a few years ago (80's and 90's I think), but is still well worth listening to if you're interested in how the world really works. highly recommended

An indispensable book.
The narrator was very good. The book should be read by anyone interested in understanding power. I learned a lot about international politics from this book and about institutions such as the IMF and world bank.

Great ideas shared in an ok form.
The thoughts shared in this book are fascinating. However, the book is too much trying to make Noam look like he knows everything, and everyone else in the discussions like they are stupid, both by what they are saying and how their words are read in the audiobook. It often seems that the other speakers are there only to connect, and often artificially so, the points that Noam wants to make.

A brilliant introduction to Chomsky
The interviews are a little dates because they took place in the 1990s but many of the concepts and historical lessons are still relevant.
If you don't fancy buying many books by Noam Chomsky and want an idea of how he approaches global politics, economics and theories of how society and the media works, this is a great listen which will be something I will revisit.

A voice not quite in the wilderness
Although marginalized by the mainstream, it appears that professor Chomsky's warning was well understood by those against whom it was directed. Now 20 years later we see the groundwork being laid for a new “stab in the back ” legend by Democrats “November criminals”. Expect the fascist takeover in 10 to 15 years.
