Summary

A dead woman. A literary treasure. A dangerous quest.

Thomas Knight, the protagonist from On the Fifth Day, returns and is faced with a centuries-old mystery surrounding a long-lost - and now priceless - Shakespearean play. To find it, Thomas will have to enter a story that drags loss and death after it like one of Shakespeares tragedies, a story bound to time and all it devours.

A must for anyone who has seen a Shakespear play

Would you listen to What Time Devours again? Why?

No. I know how it ends.

What was one of the most memorable moments of What Time Devours?

I enjoyed listening to an American's experiences in Britain. It mirrored my own.

Which character – as performed by Nick Sullivan – was your favourite?

Nick Sullivan, an American, did so many different English and French accents to perfection, that the listener did not need to be told which character was speaking..

Any additional comments?

AJ Hartley's 'What Time Devours,' and 'Macbeth' has inspired me to buy his other books, 'Hamlet' and 'On the Fifth Day.'
