Summary

Risk everything . . . for love with this #1 New York Times bestseller.

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face . . . or kiss the boy next door? In Everything, Everything, Maddy is a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world, and Olly is the boy who moves in next door . . . and becomes the greatest risk she’s ever taken.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Everything, Everything will make you laugh, cry, and feel everything in between. It's an innovative, inspiring, and heartbreakingly romantic debut novel that unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, and more.

And don’t miss Nicola Yoon's The Sun Is Also A Star, the #1 New York Times bestseller in which two teens are brought together just when it seems like the universe is sending them in opposite directions.

A story to be heard again

I loved this book, I knew I'd be hooked from the start and I was. the characters were well thought out and the story, though on face-value, seemed slightly fare-fetched, was very believable.
I wish it had been longer, I want to know if Madeleine completely recovers, does her mother? What happens to Carla?
Definitely recommend this book.

I really loved this book; it's an extreme easy read and one of the few books that listened in less than 2 days. it's sweet and clever.

A book that leaves that happy feeling.

I am not a person who enjoyes romance novels but I really enjoyed this. You can feel the main characters inner struggles about not being able to live. I think there could be a metaphore out there for all my fellow introverted people out there but I am not sure. After I finished listening It left me with a happy feeling knowing the characters are very well off.

Amazing

This book was amazing, as the quote says on the front of the book “ I devoured it in one sitting” I did exactly that. Highly recommended.

Great potential but flawed

The story of a girl with a life threatening illness, she can’t go outside for fear she ill die and is confounded to a life at home with her mother who is also her doctor.
When a family move in next door, Madeline becomes intrigued in their daily life and schedule paying close attention to their activities and eventually starting a conversation with the boy next door.

I really wanted to love this book, it started really nicely, I loved the relationship building via emails and texts etc and found the story easy to follow and enjoyable enough but I was so disappointed with the ending.
I won’t spoil it but I felt it was rushed or maybe just tries too hard to please.
There were a few to many flaws in the story for it to be enjoyable for me.
I settled on 3 starts as I was really enjoying the whole, meet the boy next door beginning with the sense of young love and the desire and want for more, until the point that I started asking too many questions and found it difficult to buy into.

Just a boring lovestory

Not my type of book. Got 14% into the physical book. About two years late I get the audio book and listening to it at X2 speed. Because it is a short book I can power through it.

It was like a typical love story. The story was boring, the characters was boring and even the "twist" at the end was boring.
