Summary

Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Riverkeep by Martin Stewart, read by James Cosmo.

Fifteen-year-old Wulliam is dreading taking up his family's mantle of Riverkeep, tending the river and fishing corpses from its treacherous waters. But then everything changes.

One night his father is possessed by a dark spirit, and Wull hears that a cure lurks deep within the great sea beast known as the mormorach. He realizes he must go on an epic journey downriver to find it - or lose Pappa forever.

Excellent debut for author Martin Stewart

James Cosmo brought to life the characters in this beautifully written book.
Wiull is a lovely caring and brave character who really becomes a very humble hero in this story. I really do hope there is a sequel to this book, as the author gives the impression that there are many more adventures for the characters in Riverkeep.

A great book with a good storyline.

Not very a fast paced book, good descriptions. Needed a better ending, characters tied together well.
