Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, read by Michael Crouch.
Straight people should have to come out too. And the more awkward it is, the better.
Simon Spier is 16 and trying to work out who he is - and what he's looking for. But when one of his emails to the very distracting Blue falls into the wrong hands, things get all kinds of complicated. Because for Simon, falling for Blue is a big deal.... It's a holy freaking huge awesome deal.

Simon vs the homosapien agenda
I really loved this book, and found it extremely hard to stop listening. I love the ending and most things in the story, besides the outing and friendship drama. However, it's set in high school concerning teenagers so drama is to be expected. I found myself relating to Simon a lot and was grinning like a fool in most things concerning him and Blue. It's all very sweet.

Oh. My. Freaking. Gosh.
So I watched the film when it came out in cinemas. I was like “this is the best film I’ve ever watched!” I must’ve watched it at least 20 times. And then I was talking to my English teacher about it, and she said the book is really good. I had a credit so I thought I’d listen to it instead. And let me tell you, I don’t think a book has ever made me cry, laugh, grin, blush, swoon and relate so much in my entire life! This is way better than the film, and I 100% recommend for a good love story when you’re feeling down.
•the narrator’s voice is kind of annoying at first but you get used to it and it becomes super relaxing!

Great for teenagers
It was good! But very childish, I realised quickly I was too old to find it amusing but the story was cute.

Email Reading.
Honestly I really like this book. But I just can’t get over the fact that they CONSTANTLY read the full email addresses out every time. I get it’s unabridged. But it’s just so painful listening to the emails back and forth.

Saccahrine.
I found this book very sickly sweet. If you just take it as a romantic story completely divorced from reality then you'll be fine. If you were hoping for some connection with reality, then you'll be disappointed. The problems that the hero faces are either non problems, or real ones that have no real consequences. I couldn't relate to any part of this book.

It feels real like not even fiction.
It's written like a true perspective of what's its like to be a homosexual today.

Love Simon, Love this Book
it's a wonderful coming of age and coming out tale, in which Simon is emailing a guy on line, Blue Green, who he gradually falls for.
the guy is at his school and between his energetic to apathetic friends he's trying to figure out who it is, whilst being blackmailed by student Martin, who discovers his secret.
It's a funny, emotional, sweet, romantic and wonderful story of boy meets boy.

Film and book different but great
I watched the film first and decided to get the book. The book is so different and yet enjoyed them both.
The book style is quite unique and very social media in style. I also found it very appropriate for the age range it portrays. The blackmailing incident along with the relationships it portrays come across as v real. Loved the ending. Very teenage!
