Excellent story, not just for kids

This is a terrific story which our ten year old listened to on his own initiative in almost one go. And this is a child who is not known for his interest in anything of that kind!! The only criticism would be that the narration by Andrew Sachs is a bit strained when he attempts to sound like a girl, or sound like the main character's Scottish mother. But the story is great, always developing, cliff hanging chapter endings, historically instructive, beautifully descriptive and undeniably exciting. I would guess of interest to boys and girls, adults too, those interested in adventure or history and especially those interested in travel and Spain. Well worth the price.
