Culminating in epic turns-of-heart on both of their parts, they team up to produce the most fabulous musical ever to grace the high-school stage. Told in alternating voices from two award-winning, popular names in young-adult fiction - John Green (author of The Fault in Our Stars) and David Levithan (author of Boy Meets Boy) - this unique collaborative novel features a double helping of the heart and humour that has won both authors legions of fans.

Excellent book but perhaps for a younger audience

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Not exactly. It was a well written story but maybe not for me.

What did you like best about this story?

The narration was excellent by both readers

Have you listened to any of MacLeod Andrews and Nick Podehl ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Did Will Grayson, Will Grayson inspire you to do anything?

Not really

Any additional comments?

I think I would have given this book 5 stars had a read it 10 or 15 years ago but now I'm a bit older (31) I felt it was just too young for me. To be more precise the characters are teenagers and view the world from this perspective which I found a little immature and annoying at times. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of Glee I just think I personally have grown out of high school musical-type narratives.

Good but definitely not JG's finest work

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes definitely, it was enjoyable and fun to experience.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The Will's should have met sooner, the story really picked up after their initial encounter. Prior to that point they both felt a little one dimensional; and to be honest one of the Will's is just very unlikable.

Have you listened to any of MacLeod Andrews and Nick Podehl ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I haven't but the narration and singing were extraordinary. Although someone did pronounce "Whatsapp" wrong at one point.

Could you see Will Grayson, Will Grayson being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

I could imagine it being a teenage drama starring Frank Dillane and Tom Holland.

Any additional comments?

If you start this book and feel it lacks pace or energy, just persevere until the two protagonists meet, after that point everything just seems to step up a gear.
