Reeling from Parker’s performance

Parker’s best performance yet. Bond was the ambassador of danger yet again in this instalment but Parker left me totally on edge. The combination of Higson’s brilliant mind and Parker’s voice made this listen my favorite yet.

Excellent narration of another great Bond Jr story. I've gone through 3 in 10 days or so and will be buying the 4th very soon. Top job by everyone involved.

Old school story telling

Nathaniel Parker is a fantastic actor and the voices he does for the different characters are brilliant. The story is of a certain time quite stylised and old fashioned but in a good way. An old school adventure action book loved it

Fast paced thriller

Wow! What a ride! Well written, with plots twists and surprises at every turn and well performed by Nathaniel Parker’s flair for giving each character a suitable voice. This adds to the story and brings it to life. I have listened to preceding books but that isn’t necessary as each book can stand on its own, although references to earlier situations add to the roundness of the whole. I found it be ry hard to put down. I am definitely read/listen to the next in the series. Thank you, Mr Higson.

Excellent Young Bond adventure, superbly narrated.

Probably the best of the superb series by Charlie Higson. Fast paced, moody and with the Fleming style and sweep. The narration by Nathaniel Parker adds to the tone of Fleming's classic character.
