Spectrum of Lies

They are childhood sweethearts. She believes in karma. He believes in science and logic. If given the choice between killing and stealing, she'd choose to steal. Forced to choose between money and freedom, he'd choose freedom.

Lorcan and Orla escaped their tragic fate on Earth by entering the Daimon Gate, a universe governed by virtuous principles. However, their entry was considered a dishonest attempt that violated the most important principle of that universe. To earn their keep, Lorcan and Orla had to return to Earth on a mission which would lead to several dangerous encounters with were-creatures.

Lorcan, Orla, Roy and Mori escaped the brutal attack of the sea creature by the skin of their teeth, only to find out that they had not yet fulfilled their mission. Not only had they put their lives in danger and not achieved their goal, but they had also triggered a catastrophe that might cost millions of human lives.

During the battle for the Indigo Stone, the enemy has placed a curse on Lorcan's parents, forcing him to go back to Ireland to break the curse. Unbeknownst to Lorcan, Orla follows him. They are now back to the land they had run away from, facing the very reason they had left - a threat that will keep them apart forever.
